  3. Eric Church : "Mr Misunderstood" (sneaked out without any fanfare - the best Springsteen album he never wrote)
  4. Clutch - "Psychic Warfare" (Clutch doing what Clutch do better than anyone)
  5. Blackberry Smoke : "Holding all the Roses" (Blackberry Skynyrd)
  6. Def Leppard (yep surprised me too.. a real grower)

Live Gig:

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Hammersmith (It was my 50th - I was drunk and in good company)
Beth Hart solo gig - Union Chapel London (stunning!)
Robert Plant - In a forest (because I haven't seen him live for years, and loved it)
AC/DC - Wembley (Haven't seen them since the 80's - loved every minute of it.)
Nightranger - O2 Islington (Always special, always brilliant.)
Thunder - Hammersmith (this would have been top as they were excellent - stiff competition this year!)

Also note : Joe Satriani, Y&T, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Black Star Riders.. and maybe Joe Bonamassa (but he didn't show up), Australia Pink Floyd (who always show up)
