FM Stourbridge River Rooms 30-10-16

I was fortunate to see this double bill back in January in Oxford  and now they return with FM promoting the release of their rerecorded Indiscreet  album not cunningly titled Indiscreet 30.

Bernie Marsden kicked it off with his acoustic take on some Whitesnake tracks covers and all wrapped up in stories with his warm sense of humour at its heart.

Here is what he played
Till The Day I Die
Linin' Track
The Time Is Right For Love (Fleetwood Mac cover)
Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City
Ain't Gonna Cry No More
Key To The Highway
With Love From Me To You(Beatles cover)

The crowd sang along to every word and marvelled at Bernie's acoustic playing and excellent voice too.A great warm up.

My love for FM is well known and this was my 22nd time of seeing them and they just get better and better. In comparison to the Indiscreet 25 show when they ran through the album 1 to 9 this time the album was played through the set and I think it worked better that way.

As ever everyone played their part with Steve Overland Britain's finest ever vocalist in my opinion on top form and everyone present had a ball.

A quick chat afterwards with Steve and the band are recording a new album with it due out in late 2017.

Fantastic.
